In the purple hills, mooseandhorse find themselves in the beautiful Wen Hai Lake 文海 in northwest Lijiang 丽江. A mountain basin in the hills south of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 玉龙雪山, one of many small countrysides scattered around.
Also, much poop to be had. Do not suggest sitting directly on the grass as the animals around are all well-fed. Picnics!

There is not much to do in this field, but it is quite beautiful. You can ATV or ride a horse around the area (for a fee of about… 150-200 RMB, but continue to negotiate). Air is Clean. Sea of purple flowers, croakers, townies, cows, donkeys, and horses’ brothers! Pretty people too.
